Quick answer
As of 13 October 2026, the Chopra dosha quiz page at chopra.com/dosha-quiz returns a ‘page not found’ error, and chopra.com itself redirects to deepakchopra.com, which lists no dosha quiz. Archived copies show the quiz was live until late 2023. If you want to find your dosha today, free quizzes from other providers remain available.
The short answer
If you have searched for the Chopra dosha quiz recently and hit a dead end, you are not imagining it. When we checked on 13 October 2026, the page that used to host the quiz, chopra.com/dosha-quiz, returned a "page not found" error. The chopra.com home page now redirects to deepakchopra.com, Deepak Chopra’s personal website, and neither its menu nor its sitemap lists a dosha quiz.
We could not find a public, Chopra-branded dosha quiz anywhere else online. That may change, and if you specifically want the Chopra version, deepakchopra.com is the place to check.
If you simply want to find your dosha — the balance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha you were born with — you can take InnerVeda’s free dosha quiz right here. It takes about three minutes and shows your result with no sign-up.
Find your dosha with Vaidya.
A short, real conversation reads your dosha — your ratio of Vata, Pitta and Kapha — separates your constitution from what's out of balance right now, and ends in three personalised next steps. Tap to begin.

What the Chopra dosha quiz was
For several years, chopra.com hosted a dosha quiz that many people still search for by name. The Internet Archive holds copies of the page from 2020 to late 2023.
An archived copy from August 2023 shows how it worked:
- Ten questions, each with three answer options
- Questions about your natural frame, lifelong weight tendency, body temperature, appetite, stamina, sleep, daily routine, how you make choices, temperament, and how you react to stress
- An instruction to answer for most of your life, not just how you feel today, and to think back to before any illness
- An email address field before the results
- A result naming a dominant and a secondary dosha, with notes on what each one is like in and out of balance
That approach, short questions about lifelong patterns ending in a dominant and secondary dosha, is a common format for online dosha quizzes.
What happened to it
We traced the page through the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. Here is what the captures show, in order:
- 2020 to late 2023: chopra.com/dosha-quiz loads as a working quiz page.
- January 2024: the same address redirects to a new location, webapp.chopra.com/public-dosha-quiz. That page was captured several times up to July 2024.
- December 2024: www.chopra.com/dosha-quiz returns a "not found" response.
- From May 2025: the chopra.com home page redirects to deepakchopra.com, and captures since then show the same redirect.
- 13 October 2026 (our own check): chopra.com/dosha-quiz still returns "not found", chopra.com still redirects to deepakchopra.com, and the webapp.chopra.com address did not respond.
We have not found an official announcement explaining these changes, so we will not guess at the reasons. What we can say is that the old link no longer leads to a quiz.
What about the Chopra app?
Some people remember taking the dosha quiz inside the Chopra app. Google Play shows the same Android app ID under different names over time:
- October 2022: "Chopra: Meditation & Wellbeing", from Chopra Global, LLC
- November 2024: "Presence: Meditate & Thrive", from Presence Siddhi LLC
- October 2026: "InnerNow: Meditation & Joy", from CHPWL LLC
The current store description does not mention a dosha quiz. We have not checked inside the app, so we cannot say whether a quiz is still there.
How dosha quizzes generally work
Whichever quiz you use, the idea underneath is the same. Ayurveda describes three doshas:
- Vata (air and space): movement, lightness, quickness, a tendency to run cold and dry
- Pitta (fire and water): heat, sharpness, drive, a strong appetite
- Kapha (earth and water): steadiness, strength, endurance, a calm temperament
Most people have all three, in different amounts. A dosha quiz asks about traits that Ayurveda traditionally links to each dosha, such as your build, digestion, sleep and how you handle stress, then tallies your answers.
Quizzes differ in a few important ways:
- How many questions they ask. Ten questions give a quick sketch; longer quizzes can pick up more detail.
- Whether they separate your nature from your current state. Ayurveda distinguishes prakriti, the constitution you were born with, from vikriti, what is out of balance right now. A stressful month can make anyone answer like Vata.
- What they give you at the end. Some name one dominant dosha. Others show a ratio across all three, which better reflects how most people actually are.
No online quiz replaces an assessment by a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Treat your result as a well-informed starting point. For a fuller comparison of quizzes, self-assessment and pulse diagnosis, see our guide on how to find your dosha.
Taking a free dosha quiz today
If the Chopra quiz was your starting point, the InnerVeda dosha quiz covers the same ground in a different way:
- It is free and takes about three minutes
- It shows your result without signing up; you only create an account if you want to save it
- It returns a ratio across Vata, Pitta and Kapha rather than a single label
- It separates your lifelong constitution from what may be out of balance right now
A few tips for any quiz, ours included:
- Answer for how you have been for most of your life, not how you feel this week.
- If two answers fit, pick the one that has been true for longest.
- Ask someone who knows you well whether your answers sound like you.
Once you know your dosha, the guides on understanding your dosha and what a dosha quiz measures explain how to read your result and what may help keep you in balance.

Frequently asked questions
We could not find it. When we checked on 13 October 2026, chopra.com/dosha-quiz returned a ‘page not found’ error, chopra.com redirected to deepakchopra.com, and that site’s menu and sitemap listed no dosha quiz. This may change, so check deepakchopra.com directly if you want the Chopra version specifically.
An archived copy from August 2023 shows ten multiple-choice questions, each with three options, covering frame, weight, body temperature, appetite, stamina, sleep, routine, decision-making, temperament and response to stress. It asked you to answer for most of your life, then requested an email address before showing a dominant and secondary dosha.
The Android listing that was titled ‘Chopra: Meditation & Wellbeing’ (developer Chopra Global, LLC) in October 2022 now appears in Google Play as ‘InnerNow: Meditation & Joy’ from CHPWL LLC. Its current store description does not mention a dosha quiz. We have not checked inside the app.
No. InnerVeda is an independent Ayurveda app and website with no affiliation to Deepak Chopra, Chopra Global or any related company. This page exists only because people still search for the Chopra quiz and deserve a clear, current answer.
Not always. Each quiz asks different questions and weighs them differently, so results can vary. Answering for your lifelong tendencies rather than how you feel this week makes any quiz more consistent. Treat any result as a starting point for self-study, not a diagnosis.
